Terms of Service
Iver - Last updated: April 2026
1. What Iver is
Iver is a marketplace that connects runners with local hosts offering private running tours. We facilitate bookings and payments, but we are not a party to the tour itself. Hosts are independent individuals, not Iver employees.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or older to use Iver. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Bookings
Runners book tours through the platform and receive meeting point and host contact details after confirmed payment.
Hosts set their own routes, times, prices, and group sizes. By listing a tour, hosts commit to delivering it as described.
Both parties agree to show up as agreed. No-shows without cancellation are a breach of these terms.
4. Payments and fees
Payments are processed via Stripe. Iver charges a service fee included in the displayed price. Hosts receive their payout after the tour is completed.
5. Cancellations
Cancellation terms are set per tour and shown before booking. If a host cancels, the runner receives a full refund. Iver may offer credits or alternatives at its discretion.
6. Physical activity and liability
Running carries inherent physical risk. By booking or hosting a tour, you acknowledge:
- You participate at your own risk.
- Iver is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from a tour.
- Hosts are not medical or fitness professionals unless explicitly stated.
- Runners are responsible for assessing their own fitness level before booking.
7. Conduct
You agree not to use Iver to harass, harm, defraud, or misrepresent yourself to others. Iver may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.
8. Content
By posting tour listings, photos, or reviews, you grant Iver a license to display that content on the platform. You retain ownership.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of Iver after changes means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be resolved in Norwegian courts.
