See the best of Trondheim in one easy-paced loop, guided by a local.
We start at Torvet in the heart of the city and run to Nidarosdomen, Norway's national sanctuary and the most iconic building in Trondheim. From there we cross Gamle Bybro, the old red city bridge, into Bakklandet with its colourful wooden houses, and run past Trampe, the world's first bicycle lift.
Then comes the one real climb: up to Kristiansten Fortress, with the best panoramic view of the city, the river and the fjord. After a photo stop, we head down through Møllenberg to Solsiden, the old shipyard turned restaurant district.
From Solsiden we follow the harbour past Brattøra and out to Ila, before finishing along the Nidelva river and back past the cathedral to Torvet.
Pace is set by you. Expect a relaxed, chatty run with photo stops, local stories and honest tips for where to eat and drink afterwards.

Hi, I'm William! I study business at NTNU in Trondheim and spent my military service in the Norwegian Air Force as a section leader in a quick reaction force. That's where running became more than exercise for me. These days I combine strength training and running, and I'm currently chasing a sub-20 5K. On my runs, you set the pace. Whether you want a relaxed jog with plenty of photo stops or a proper workout, I'll adapt the route and tempo to you. Expect local stories, honest restaurant tips and a route you wouldn't find on your own. Distances from 5 to 20 km. All levels welcome.
