Hi, I’m Helen, founder of **Cretan Wild**, a local outdoor adventure company offering trail running, hiking and active experiences across Crete. I discovered running at 39 and it completely changed the direction of my life, eventually bringing me back to Crete and into the mountains. Since then, running has taken me from my first marathon to ultra-distance adventures around the world, including setting a women’s FKT across Arizona. Through Cretan Wild, I now share my love of running, nature and Crete with visitors from around the world. Whether we’re exploring Chania’s coastline or heading into the White Mountains, my runs are relaxed, inclusive and all about discovering Crete through movement, local knowledge and good company.
